Rediscover Connection: Couples Therapy Intensive

Helping couples reconnect and rebuild intimacy with respect, understanding, and care.

You both want a happy marriage. You’ve felt like roommates for too long.

You love each other, but somewhere along the way, life took over—and now, it feels like you're just coexisting instead of truly connecting. The laughter, the late-night talks, the inside jokes... they’ve been replaced with logistics, routines, and an unspoken distance that neither of you knows how to close.

You keep saying you’ll figure it out, that you’ll make time to work on things when life slows down—but deep down, you know you can’t afford to wait any longer.

This isn’t about giving up. It’s about finally giving your relationship the time and space it deserves. A chance to get real, get honest, and get back to each other—before the distance becomes too great to bridge.

Let’s start now. Because the relationship you miss is still within reach.

💡 Why a Couples Intensive?

Most couples wait 6 years from the first signs of trouble before reaching out for help.
By that point, traditional therapy can feel like it’s moving way too slow.

This intensive offers:
✔️ Immediate clarity
✔️ Deep emotional traction
✔️ Faster progress than weekly sessions
✔️ Tools you can use the moment the session ends

This isn’t just about saving your relationship.
It’s about changing how you experience it—together.

Your Options

I know every couple’s needs and schedules are different, so I design intensives with maximum flexibility to fit your life. Your intensive can be customized based on:

✔ Session length: 3-5 hour segments
✔ Number of sessions: 1 or 2-day formats
✔ Frequency: Back-to-back days or spaced out weekly
✔ Location: In-person at a vacation rental near Pittsburgh, PA or online for couples in Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Ohio

Couples intensives start at $2,300.
Couples Intensives are designed for deep, focused progress. Ready to find the best fit for your relationship?

HOW IT WORKS

Your Relationship Deserves a Plan That Works for You

Every couple’s challenges are unique, which is why I tailor each intensive to your specific needs. Many couples benefit from multiple sessions over several days to truly dive deep and create lasting change. Here’s how it works:

  • Fill out your application here. I only take a limited number of couples each month so I can give each partnership my full energy and preparation.
Once you apply, I’ll review your responses and reach out with available dates if we’re a good fit.

  • We’ll meet for an in-depth session to create a clear roadmap for your intensive. You’ll each receive private intake paperwork + a detailed assessment covering key areas like:

    • Communication

    • Conflict resolution

    • Roles and responsibilities

    • Finances

    • Intimacy

    • Parenting

    • Personality differences

    • Extended family dynamics

This gives me a full picture of what’s working—and what’s not—so we can skip the surface and get straight to the heart of what’s keeping you stuck.

  • We’ll meet online for a full-day (or two half-days) of uninterrupted, therapist-guided work.
This isn’t just venting—it’s a strategic deep dive using evidence-based frameworks like the Gottman Method, Family Systems, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you:

    • Understand your patterns

    • Repair trust

    • Strengthen emotional safety

    • Build new tools for navigating conflict and closeness

No distractions. No rush. Just the two of you, held in a structured space where real progress happens.

You’ll walk away with a personalized roadmap, including:

    • Tools to calm conflict and communicate better

    • Exercises to rebuild intimacy and connection

    • A strategy for staying on the same team—even when life gets hard

(For couples living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Ohio & Illinois)

  • One month later, we’ll meet again for a 30-minute follow-up to:

    • Review your progress

    • Refine what’s working

    • Troubleshoot what’s not

This is your opportunity to go all in on your relationship and finally make the changes you’ve been craving.

Relationship Reset: A Private Therapy Intensive for Busy Couples

Life is full - kids, careers, in-laws, responsibilities - and somewhere along the way, your relationship shifted. The spark faded, conversations became about logistics, and intimacy turned into something you used to have.

Maybe you haven’t had a major crisis, but you’ve slowly drifted apart. And now, you’re wondering… How do we get back to us?

💡 That’s where a therapy intensive comes in.

Instead of months of weekly sessions, a private intensive gives you focused time to work through what’s been pulling you apart—so you can start feeling like partners again.

Why an Intensive?

✔️ You’re busy. Between work, kids, and everything else, it’s hard to carve out time for weekly therapy. A dedicated, deep-dive session gives you the momentum to reset.
✔️ You need more than a quick check-in. When the foundation of your relationship has shifted, real change takes more than an hour a week—it takes immersive, intentional work.
✔️ You want to reconnect now—not months from now. An intensive helps you see progress faster, with practical tools you can use immediately.

What to Expect

I’ll guide you through a process rooted in Gottman Method therapy, which isn’t just about communication—it’s about understanding the patterns in your relationship and learning how to show up for each other when it matters most.

🔹 Did you know? Gottman research shows that happy couples don’t just support each other in hard times—they show up in the good times, too. In fact, responding to your partner’s bids for connection (even in small, everyday moments) is one of the strongest predictors of long-term relationship satisfaction.

An intensive will help you:
✨ Identify what’s pulling you apart—and how to shift those patterns.
✨ Rebuild emotional intimacy—so you feel seen and heard again.
✨ Learn how to repair after conflict—so disagreements don’t turn into resentment.
✨ Strengthen your friendship and partnership—because that’s the foundation of everything.

It’s Time to Prioritize Us

Before the kids, the jobs, and the stress, it was just the two of you. That connection is still there—it just needs space to breathe.

Let’s get you back on track. Schedule your private therapy intensive today.

The #1 Predictor of Divorce? Contempt.

Research shows that contempt—eye-rolling, sarcasm, criticism, or that feeling of being better than your partner—is the strongest indicator that a marriage is heading toward divorce. Why? Because contempt erodes respect, trust, and emotional safety—the foundation of any lasting relationship.

💔 How Contempt Shows Up in Everyday Life:

❌ The Subtle Dig: “Wow, must be nice to sit and relax while I do everything.” (Translation: I resent you, and I’m keeping score.)

❌ The Eye-Roll Response: Your partner shares an idea or concern, and instead of engaging, you roll your eyes and dismiss them. (Translation: What you’re saying isn’t worth my time.)

❌ The Character Attack: “You always act like a victim. You’re so sensitive.” (Translation: There’s something wrong with you, not just this situation.)

❌ Mocking & Sarcasm: “Oh sure, like you ever help with the kids.” (Translation: I don’t respect your effort, and I’d rather shame you than ask for what I need.)

👉 If any of this feels familiar, don’t ignore it. Contempt doesn’t just disappear—it builds. And if left unchecked, it’s one of the fastest ways to destroy connection and intimacy.

💡 You don’t have to wait until things fall apart.

Most couples don’t think they need therapy until they’re at their breaking point—but by then, the damage is deep. The best time to invest in your relationship is NOW, before the distance grows too wide.

🔥 Book a therapy intensive today and start rebuilding respect, connection, and trust—before it’s too late.

You relationship can change in a day.

Disclaimers

Intensives are not for every couple. Is an Intensive Right for You?

Before scheduling an Intensive, here are a few important things to consider:

  • If you or your partner have experienced suicidality in the past 12 months or are in an active state of crisis, an Intensive is not the right fit. Please seek immediate support through crisis resources or a local mental health provider.

  • If there is an active affair, an Intensive is not an option. Both partners need to be fully committed to rebuilding trust before diving into this level of work.

  • If one or both of you are unsure whether you want to work on the relationship, this format won’t be productive. An Intensive is for couples who are aligned in their goal to repair and reconnect—not those still deciding if they want to stay together.

  • If one or both partners are currently struggling with addiction, an Intensive is not appropriate. Addiction recovery should be the priority before engaging in deep relational work.

  • If you and your partner can’t be in the same space without extreme conflict or if intimate partner violence is present, an Intensive is not a safe or effective option. If you need support in these areas, please visit this resource for more help.

  • If you’re not sure whether an Intensive is the right step for you, reach out—I’m happy to help you assess whether this format is a good fit or direct you to other resources that better suit your needs.

  • If you're traveling from out of state, all services are provided under my license in Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Ohio and follow state-specific guidelines, including confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, and mandatory reporting laws.

Maybe things haven’t felt “bad enough” and honestly, scheduling your hectic schedules to do therapy has felt impossible, but you know you don’t want to wait until it is SO bad. Between your jobs, the kids, in-laws and school activities.

Let’s take 3 months of therapy and put it into one day.
